You are then left to sit there and drink it. I booked this thinking it would be a great escape room which a twist of cocktails but it’s not the cocktail you poor from a bottle and you are walked through making some weird potion type mix that you bubble up and spoon onto your drink. The third room is led by a member of staff and this is the part that say you mark cocktails on the website. If you found something you would get the games master saying oh you don’t need that yet so don’t worry about it or oh, you found that clue to early so don’t use it yet. This is obviously so they can get other people in the room after us? So that nothing stalls timings wise! This is not how escape rooms should work at all. The games master was leading, often telling us clues that we didn’t need and basically leading us through the room. The puzzles that are they are really basic, really simple. Again with 7 of us in this room it was bloody stupid, not enough puzzles in there for everyone to be active in the room. I used the term puzzles loosely! Once again there were people in the next room and it was so loud that it was difficult to hear. When you reach the second room, there were a maximum of 3 maybe 4 at a stretched puzzles. Because other people were in the next rooms we were there left sitting there, being given pointless tasks like ( choose your leader, who then has to give a motivational speech and slow dance with your partner, and sing we are the champions) these all used to fill gaps and store time! The entry to the next room was padlocked up, so we thought there would be an task to undo this, but no the staff come in, saying you have completed the task and unlock this for us! This was really pointless and we were confused. In room 1 there was one puzzle to complete and because there was 7 people in the room it meant that lots were standing around watching. If you are an escape room enthusiast don’t spend your money here. The first room we were in we were being given directions from a computer and just couldn’t hear all that was being said. I was a little disappointed in this, however after researching after (stupid me) this was described on the website.īecause this escape room has three different rooms it was really loud. Now I may have read a different web address but I did not pick up at anytime people would join us in the room.
There was three of us and we were joined by 4 other people in the experience. It would have been nice to have a warm, cheerful welcome however we were just told you can’t come in yet and the door was shut and locked. When we arrived we weren’t allowed to enter as I think there was another group in.
I bought this as a Christmas present for all of us to do. Me and my friends are seasoned escape room goers.
